β³ How Long Will My Colour Last?
The lifespan of your colour depends on the service type and your home care routine.
Permanent Colour: Until it grows out (Root touch-up every 6β8 weeks).
Semi Permanent / Gloss: Approximately 24β28 washes.
Vivid's & Fashion Colours: 2β4 weeks (High maintenance; fades faster).
Pastels: 1β2 weeks (Very delicate; requires frequent top-ups).
Highlights / Balayage: 3β4 months (Low maintenance regrowth).
π§Ό The Golden Rules of Washing
Wait 48β72 Hours: Do not wash your hair immediately. This allows the cuticle to close and "lock in" the pigment.
Sulfate-Free Only: Use professional, sulfate-free shampoos. Grocery store brands often contain harsh detergents that strip colour instantly.
Turn Down the Heat: Wash with lukewarm water and finish with a cold rinse to seal the cuticle for maximum shine.
Wash Less: Aim for 2β3 times per week. Use dry shampoo to bridge the gap.
π‘οΈ Styling & Protection
Heat Protection is Mandatory: Always apply a professional heat protectant before using blow dryers or irons.
Keep Tools Below 180Β°C: High heat can "cook" the colour molecules out of your hair, leading to instant fading.
Microfiber Matters: Gently pat hair dry with a microfiber towel or cotton T-shirt. Never rub wet hair, as this causes breakage and frizz.
βοΈ External Factors
Sun & Chlorine: UV rays and pool chemicals act as natural bleaches. Wear a hat or use a UV-protectant spray when outdoors or swimming.
Hydration: Use a deep conditioning mask once a week to keep the hair "sealed" and healthy.

β³ How Long Will My Nails Last?
Longevity depends on your lifestyle and the type of enhancement chosen.
Gel Polish: 2-3 weeks. Best for natural nails; will begin to lift or peel if left longer.
BIAB (Builder Gel): 3β4 weeks. A stronger reinforcement for natural nails. Requires a "fill" or "rebalance" to maintain the apex.
Acrylic Enhancements: 3-4 weeks. Very durable, but the "growth gap" at the cuticle can cause leverage issues and lifting if not maintained.
π‘οΈ The Golden Rules of Nail Care
Oil is Your Best Friend: Apply cuticle oil twice daily. This keeps the enhancement flexible and prevents the natural nail underneath from becoming brittle and pulling away from the product.
Gloves are Mandatory: Always wear rubber gloves when washing dishes, cleaning with chemicals, or gardening. Harsh chemicals and prolonged water exposure are the #1 cause of lifting.
No Picking or Peeling: If an edge lifts, do not pull it! Picking can tear away layers of your natural nail plate, leading to thinning and pain. Contact the salon for a quick fix.
Avoid Intense Heat: For the first 24 hours, avoid very hot baths, saunas, or tanning beds, as heat can interfere with the final curing process of some products.
π« Nails Are Not Tools
Don't Use Your Tips: Avoid using your nails to open soda cans, peel off stickers, or type aggressively with the tips. Use the pads of your fingers instead.
Watch the Pigment: Be careful with hair dye, spicy foods (like turmeric), and new denim, as these can stain light-coloured gel or acrylic topcoats.
π§Ό Hygiene & Health
Keep Them Dry: After washing your hands, dry them thoroughly. Trapped moisture under a lifted nail can lead to "greenies" (bacterial growth).
The 3-Week Rule: Never leave enhancements on for more than 4 weeks without a professional service. As the nail grows, the balance shifts, putting stress on your natural nail bed which can cause painful snapping.
BEAUTY
β³ Lifespan and Maintenance
LVL Lash Lift: Results typically last 6β8 weeks. We recommend a maintenance appointment every 8 weeks.\
Brow Lamination: Results typically last 4β6 weeks. We recommend a maintenance appointment every 6β8 weeks.
Waxing: Results typically last 3β4 weeks. We recommend a maintenance appointment every 4β6 weeks.
Massage: Offers immediate relief; monthly sessions are recommended for chronic tension.
ποΈ Eyes and Brows (LVL & Lamination)
The first 24 hours are critical while the hair bonds are still flexible.
The First 24 Hours: Absolutely no water, steam, saunas, or heavy sweat. This will drop the lift or ruin the brow shape. Do not touch or rub your eyes/brows, and avoid applying any makeup or mascara to the area.
Ongoing Care: Try to sleep on your back for the first night to avoid "setting" the hairs in a squashed position. After the initial 24-hour window, brush your lashes and brows into place daily with a clean spoolie. We recommend applying a nourishing oil or professional serum after 48 hours to keep the hairs soft and healthy.
π¦΅Smooth Skin (Waxing)
Your follicles remain open and sensitive for up to 48 hours post-treatment.
The First 24β48 Hours: Avoid hot baths, showers, tanning beds, and saunas. Stay away from swimming pools and gyms, as sweat and chemicals can cause breakouts in open follicles. Do not apply scented lotions, deodorants, or self-tanners to the waxed area.
Ongoing Care: Wear loose, breathable clothing to avoid friction. To prevent ingrown hairs, wait 3 days post-wax and then begin exfoliating the area 2β3 times a week.
πββοΈ Body Recovery (Massage)
Massage helps flush the lymphatic system and manipulate muscle tissue.
Immediate Aftercare: Drink plenty of water immediately after your session to help your body flush out released toxins. Avoid alcohol for the rest of the day, as it can dehydrate the muscles and hinder recovery.
Ongoing Care: Avoid strenuous exercise or heavy lifting for the remainder of the day. A warm (not hot) bath with Epsom salts can help further soothe any lingering muscle soreness. Muscle tenderness up to 48 hours is normal!
βοΈ Spray Tan
Development: Stay dry for 8 hours (or as advised for express). No moisturiser or perfume.
First Rinse: Lukewarm water only until clear. Pat dry; do not rub.
Maintenance: Moisturize daily with oil-free lotion. Avoid chlorine.
π Facials & Massage
Facials: No heavy makeup or "active" skincare (Retinol/Acids) for 48 hours. Wear SPF daily.
Massage: Drink plenty of water to flush toxins. Avoid alcohol and intense exercise for 24 hours.
π« Professional Note on Sensitivity
Slight redness or "bumpy" skin (a histamine reaction) is normal after waxing or brow treatments and usually fades within a few hours. However, if you experience persistent swelling, blistering, or an allergic reaction, please contact the salon or a healthcare professional immediately. Results are best maintained when using the recommended professional home-care products.
